On the occasion of XFR STN (Transfer Station) at the New Museum, Coleen Fitzgibbon and I will present clips from COLAB TV highlighting the contributions of women.
Beginning in 1978, COLAB produced the All Color News, followed by Potato Wolf and Red Curtain. Many of those videotapes still exist, stored as the M/F/W Club materials or by individual artists. Coleen Fitzgibbon and I began digitizing COLAB TV shows in 2006 in collaboration with Alan W. Moore.
Please join us in the NM theater space at 7PM. The museum is free beginning at 7PM on Thursday nights. There are XFR STN events every Thursday at 7PM in the 5th floor gallery space.
