XFR STN
(Transfer Station) is an open-door artist-centered media archiving project on the 5th floor of the New Museum in New York City.
Make a free appointment online and bring obsolete media to digitize, take away, and archive online. Visit the museum for artist gallery talks every Thursday night at 7PM when the museum is free. There is a paper broadside to read and a resource room with information about the history of Collaborative Projects, Inc. (COLAB) and the M/W/F Club.
Coleen Fitzgibbon and I have been digitizing COLAB TV since 2006. On September 5th at 7PM, we will share clips from our efforts, focusing especially on the contributions of women. Please join us.
